Make a little room
Think of something that brings you joy.
Something small. Something ordinary. Something that makes you feel a little warmer, lighter, more alive.
Maybe it’s music playing while you cook.
Sitting outside in the morning.
Reading a book before bed.
Drawing.
Singing.
Working with your hands.
Fresh flowers on the table.
Ask yourself gently:
What would it look like to make a little more room for this in my ordinary life?
Maybe you leave the book beside your bed.
Put the sketchbook somewhere you can see it.
Turn on the music.
Step outside for a few extra minutes.
Bring home the flowers.
Nothing dramatic. Just one small opening for something you love to find its way back into your day.
You don’t have to build your life around what brings you joy.
Maybe you simply stop making it work so hard to find you.
Make a little room.
And see what comes.
